People call on the Sheenan Funeral Home because they trust Tom
Sheenan and his hand-picked staff to provide the best Sensitive Service that they
can get. Being one of the best funeral homes in the country, people have come to expect
that the funeral director helping their family will do what best serves their family
and not the convenience of the staff. |
| "Sensitive Service" means: |
Caring: Raymond J. Sheenan founded the Sheenan funeral Home in
1933, in a storefront on Washington Avenue. A year later, through diligent, caring service
to the community, he moved to the present facility on Dunellen Avenue. He insisted the
decor and furnishings be home-like, offering bereaved families privacy and comfort. |
Dedication: The Sheenan tradition continues today as Thomas E.
Sheenan and his staff are dedicated to provide the Sensitive Service and caring the
community has come to expect. Under Thomas' leadership they have developed many programs
and services to meet the needs of each family served. |
Community Involvement: The Sheenans have consistently
demonstrated their concern for others through community involvement. Ray was twice elected
County Coroner. He was a 60 year member of the Knights of Columbus, 50 years in Lions and
Elks Clubs and 30 years in Alhambra, a group benefiting retarded children. Tom has been
equally involved as President of the Lions Club and a forty year member of the Knights of
Columbus. |
Pursuit of Excellence: Tom has continued his professional
education and was the first U.S. Funeral Director to achieve the "Certified Funeral
Service Practitioners Degree." Striving for becoming the ace of aces? It s easy when you buy essay at masterpapers.com! . Simply type the domain name on the browser reverse cell phone lookup you are using when.
He has also served as President of the New Jersey
State Funeral Directors Association, as well as with the Middlesex/Somerset Chapter. Tom
served as President of the National Association of Approved Morticians. Tom's education
and dedication continue to help the Sheenan Funeral Home to better serve the families that
depend on them. |
Offering Choices: The Sheenan philosophy in funeral service is
to listen carefully to the wishes of each member of the family. Each situation is
different. Sheenan Funeral Home wants to provide people with alternative ways to express
their loss so the service is meaningful to them. |
Explaining Costs: Knowing the families in the community, Tom and
his staff, understand that quality and cost are both important. With the wide range of
available services and with a compassionate, caring and creative staff, everyone can get
the dignity they deserve at a cost their family can afford. |
"We counsel our families on all aspects of planning a funeral,
including making sure they're aware of the costs. There's no reason for anyone to hesitate
discussing financial considerations" |
